When I focus on the negative, what I attend to, that very negativity, enlarges. It is then that I feel all of my difficult thoughts are as cobwebs. They block the light from me. They feel icky to have and they separate me from what I really want. How do I sweep away the cobwebs?
When I live with mind clutter, which are my cobwebs, I am definitely imprisoned , uncomfortable, and gasping for air. When I succumb to mind clutter the “I” of me is totally lost in the junk of life. It all comes back to letting go and moving into the now. When I let go of judgment the light of life can come in. As I let go of condemnation of self and others, the air is as fresh as a spring morning after the rain has watered the land.

Ultimately, we can only be responsible for our own thoughts, feelings and behaviors. 2004-06-08
I can choose to live with the situation as is or I can choose to let go and move on. Chapter 3, Set II 2004-06-10
“All is to be embraced. Held in awe. Nothing rejected. You call forth your experiences for a reason. You do not need to understand. Yours is to experience what this moment offers. Again the call to be here now. Tomorrow indeed will take care of itself. All is experience called forth. Reject nothing. All is useful when accepted as is. Embrace the now. And in that momentary experience know that letting go of all that is not is a prerequisite to being in the fullness of that moment. The pear is not an apple. Enjoy the pearness. Eat fully of what is before you. Do not wish that it be other than what it is.”

I finally reach the point where I just let go and accept the unknowable. Set II chapter 6. 2004-06-16
The following message came to me, “Never doubt the process, for process it is. Yours is to be in the moment fully engaged with what is in that moment. Let go of all fears and expectations. Neither fear nor expectation is helpful or even real. Be available at all times. Do not say “No” to what appears in the moment. A certain amount of gentleness and flexibility are a part of the mix. Life is meant to be lived. Do the living and the rest will come. When in doubt or fear immediately turn within. Banish the voice of doubt and fear and connect with the Source of faith and freedom.

"I cease the regrets of the past and let go of fears of the future." Chapter 8, Set II 2004-06-22
When I was thinking about the whys of the World Trade Center deaths I received the image of light spreading in the darkness and rigidity melting in the fire of love, compassion and understanding. I had no real answers to the whys so I asked another question, “What could I do in my own personal arena?”. Aside from living in the moment more fully, some helpful activities for increasing my own positive energy were to meditate daily, to write in my journal, to love those around me, to be open to any opportunities for service and sharing that availed themselves to me. I could offer each day to God that my time might be well spent. The Spirit within me was the same Spirit within all people and by my accessing that Spirit, it would be one more conduit to bring life, healing, new vision, peace and joy to the world. As I became more free, I freed the world. Visions and prayers were two sides of the same coin. I could honor the vision as one possibility and then adjust my world view so the new possibility could arrive. That possibility could be in the personal or in the global arena.
